What I'm doing now
A short, honest snapshot of what I'm focused on — in the spirit of nownownow.com.

Building RAG infrastructure at Amazon
I'm a Software Development Engineer on the AWS Quick RAG team in Seattle, building the high-throughput ingestion pipelines that power Amazon Quick Suite, Q Business, and Kendra — 10,000+ documents a day, feeding RAG and LLM experiences over enterprise data.
Studying AI & Machine Learning at Indiana Wesleyan
Alongside the day job I'm working through graduate studies in AI & Machine Learning at Indiana Wesleyan University — the artifacts on this site (Haven, Triage Copilot, PrepPilot) are largely where that coursework turns into shipped systems.
Recent builds
Haven — a fully local AI therapy companion I fine-tuned and evaluated end to end. PrepPilot — a local-first voice-loop mock-interview coach. Triage Copilot — an on-call AI agent that advises but never executes. All three live under Artifacts.
Writing The Applied AI Brief
I write a monthly newsletter on where AI is actually earning its keep, plus shorter field notes drawn from my own builds. The latest piece is Nobody Shipped a Smarter Model This Month. They Shipped the Plumbing..
